You know the Apple iPhone is a great device with many awesome features, it has many deficiencies that need to be brought up. Things like third party support and carrier choice are just some of these. If these deficiencies were corrected, the iPhone would be one amazing device. This, however, is unlikely to happen. Following, though, are some of the Apple iPhones missing features.
Front Facing Camera
Although most people dont really care about the 2 mega-pixel camera on the back of the iPhone, it is disappointing to find out that there isnt a camera on the front. This would be a perfect feature for video chatting, which, although, would be limited by the iPhones lack of 3G, would work great over WiFi.
Third Party Support
One of the biggest iPhone features thats missing is third party support. Apple has made the iPhone a walled garden. Third party applications can not be installed. Apple claims that its for security reasons but its commonly believed that theyll eventually bow to public pressure and release an SDK and allow certain applications in. There is, even so, always the browser hole.
Browser Plug-Ins
The iPhone has terrible support for browser plug-ins such as flash and javascript. This was kept mum in the early stages of development, but has recently come to light. Better plug-in support for the Safari browser would make for a much more useful device. This is one of iPhones features that is missing.
Carrier Choice
Being forced to be locked to Cingular with a 2 year contract is a bit of a sad point of the iPhone. Many locations around the nation arent even supported by Cingular. If Apple allowed for the iPhone to be used with more carriers, it would impress the public greatly. Its just another iPhone feature thats missing.
Phone and Data Price Plans
This iPhone feature that is missing is a common worry for potential buyers. Cingular could easily use phone and data price plans and take advantage of early adopters with crazy, expensive price plans.
Removable Battery
The lack of a removable battery in the iPhone is a huge potential problem in emergency situations and when traveling. The only upside to this situation is that all iPod 30-pin dock connector accessories will work. This, however, is an import iPhone feature that is missing.

Buy a car charger of iphone
The iPhone is truly a revolutionary device, one that is expected to take the world by storm once it is actually launched. It has already been introduced however, as a smartphone made by the Apple Company that literally combines an iPod, tablet PC, digital camera and cellular phone all into one easy to use and incredibly convenient device that is so small it can fit in your pocket.
There are also many different devices and accessories that are going to be made available for the iPhone, one in particular being the iPhone car charger, which will allow you to charge your iPhone while you are on the road or when you otherwise do not have access to a power supply.

IPhone Complaints
The hype surrounding the launch of the iPhone has given it great attention. We should not be surprised that the actual product did not live up to publicity for some people. Many people are complaining about how the iPhone did not meet their expectations. Surprisingly, within weeks of the launching Apple has already been bombarded with iPhone complaints and some first class action lawsuits.
With the brand new product, users have reported that there are bugs and deficiencies in the iPhone. The lack of memory expansion slot to increase the basic memory, the low call and speaker phone volume, slow download speeds on AT&T network, short battery life between charges and problems with text messaging are just a few of the iPhone complaints.
More iPhone complaints are that the browser does not save passwords, or synchronize passwords from the big-screen browser, he Mac RSS can not display aggregated feeds the way Safari can on a Mac, the inboxes in the email are not aggregated as they are in Apple Mail and that the iPhone has no search tools which is useful for finding music or contacts.
Iphone Complaints Regarding Battery
One of the lawsuits involves the iPhone battery. The iPhone battery is sealed in the unit and soldered on the inside of the device so it cannot be changed by the owner. The common iPhone complaints centered on the fact that this was not established before the release. Users wanted to be informed beforehand of this built in battery feature.
Apple had proudly stated that Apple iPhone will be a monumental interface just like the iPod wheel and have distinctly touted its touch screen feature as revolutionary innovation. Most common iPhone complaints are about the touch screen being hampered by the use of gloves because the screen only reacts to human skin.
Some iPhone complaints are about its exclusivity to AT&T. Any individual will incur several thousands worth of call charges for calling local people using other cellular phone networks as well as calling abroad. The exclusive use of iPhone for AT&T is also one of the iPhone complaints since AT&T is said to have less coverage and not as great service compared to other cellular phone companies.
Your perception to the iPhone may have been biased due to the media hype that its release has generated. The growing number of iPhone complaints might just turn some people of from buying it. Although, many of the iPhone complaints have been dealt by Apple accordingly, the idea that such and innovative device could have so many errors is daunting.

A user review of apple iphone
Initial Pros and Cons
Without even exploring the phone, there are several noticeable pros of this device. Firstly, anyone who looks at this phone will notice the incredibly large touch screen. This is definably a plus for those users who struggle to read the content on a smaller screen. From the commercials that were displayed months prior to the release (and after the product was released), a huge amount of unique features, such as the ability to use Safari and iTunes on one device, were introduced. Finally, this is an Apple product and Apple has a long history of providing quality entertainment products.
There are many noticeable cons of this product that can be observed before the unit is even turned on. Perhaps the biggest initial issue with the iPhone is the outrageous amount of money necessary to purchase the unit. Another issue a lot of users will have is that the iPhone is currently exclusive to AT&T service. Finally, many users may shy away from the iPhone because of the visible lack of a keyboard.
Calling
The iPhone is essentially a phone and this phone has many good qualities to it. The iPhone incorporates a simple calling system, which allows it to be the one feature users will not have to adjust to using. The contact management system is nice and allows for easy management of all contacts. The five call function categories are sufficient for most users. The favorites category, for example, is nothing more than Apple's own version of speed dial. The dialpad used to dial out to other people is nothing more than the industry standard 12-key system.
Even though the iPhone is a solid communication device, there are several issues that deserve to be mentioned. For example, it is quite a hassle to find contacts as the system lacks a keyboard interface to search for them. Numbers typed in the dialpad are not saved as contacts, so the user will have to remember the number and manually add it to their contact list. Another issue is that call quality is average to say the best. Along with that, the person receiving the call will receive the same quality of sound that the iPhone user will. Finally, it should be noted that custom ringtones and MP3 ringtones cannot currently be used with the iPhone.
Hardware
Users will first notice the sleek design of the iPhone and how this look was properly done by Apple. The phone is made with sturdy and beautiful materials, such as a finely detailed back panel. The curvy design fits in the hand nicely, which makes it extremely comfortable to hold. The iPhone is equipped with a very nice two megapixel camera that is nicely blended into the design of the phone. The cellular device also includes a standard audio and microphone port for those wishing to treat their iPhone like an iPod. Speaking of which, the default iPhone headphones are pretty solid for those who want to start listening to music without buying a pair. The display of the iPhone is well designed as the screen is extremely resistant to scratching.
While the hardware of the iPhone is nearly perfect, it does have flaws. For example, Apple has a recessed audio port which prevents a number of headphones from being connected to the unit. Another issue with the hardware is that sometimes the phone will freeze while charging and will, in some instances, require a soft reset. Another issue with the iPhone is the lack of 3G support and the sometimes buggy Bluetooth interface.
Software
Let's face it, someone isn't buying an iPhone just for the hardware. The advantages and innovations of the software of the iPhone is what warrants it of the high price tag. One of the biggest innovations in the iPhone is the finger controlled user interface. For example, users can navigate through the iPhone by making different motions, such as drags and taps, with their fingers. The virtual keyboard is another big innovation, removing the need for an external keyboard that can be prone to jams, scratches, and such. There is also a horizontal version of the keyboard for use in Safari which makes internet browsing a whole lot easier. Speaking of Safari, it is one of many convenient programs that have been bundled with the iPhone. Some of these programs include a calendar, calculator, a SMS client, and a YouTube viewer.
With the new technology introduced in the iPhone, there are sure to be disadvantages. For example, the user interface is inconsistent from program to program. Due to this fact, the user interface system requires a learning curve and patience before someone can fully master the system. Another con of the iPhone software is that the theme cannot be customized by the user. To add on to this issue, different applications are themed differently and there is a lack of consistency. Yet another con of this software is that the virtual keyboard does not feel as good as a physical keyboard. The virtual keyboard is also prone to typing inconsistencies, such as confusing a 'N' for a 'M'. Yet another issue with the virtual keyboard is that one key must be released before the user can press another key. To further add to the list of issues, the virtual keyboard forces users to switch to the alternative symbol keyboard to use a period. More keyboard issues include the inability to easily switch between caps on and caps off, the fact that all text looks capitalized when it is being typed, and the fact that hitting the space bar when typing numbers will send you back to the letters keyboard. The internal dictionary is also buggy and will require some user additions to avoid aggravation. Finally, it is worth mentioning that some of the programs, such as the YouTube viewer, are buggy when viewing certain videos over certain connections.
The Final Verdict
If you are into high tech gadgets, the iPhone is for you. If you simply desire a phone with a few extra quirks, then you should probably go with another option.
Final Rating: 7/10

Soldering and skill with software(iphone unlock method)
The latest news is that he has now traded the unlocked iPhone for “a sweet Nissan 350Z and 3 8GB iPhones”, but he doesn’t say whether that was a brand new 350z or cheap second hand one. Also George says on his blog that “I will be doing consulting work for Certicell and Puremobile in the little bit of free time I have.” So he might be onto a nice little earner after all.
When will companies like Apple and AT&T learn that hackers will always find a way to break software locks? If your profits are reliant on the phones remaining locked to a specific network the only secure method of locking the device will be prevent the simcard from being removed!
