IPhone GPS?

The absence of GPS is one of the main criticisms against the iPhone, as did the lack of 3G. If the latter would certainly appear that in the models of next year, there are now almost filling an application with the absence of GPS.
Géolocation triangulation GSM

The application Navizon, available for the moment only in English, in fact uses the GSM standard relays and not a satellite positioning like a GPS. In this way, and taking the position of three relays, Navizon can show how cell to another. According to our brothers Blog iPhone, the application is already completely usable in France on the phone from Apple.
Although less accurate than GPS

If the system is clever, it is still far less precise than GPS. The accuracy depends on the density of the cellular network to where they are. In urban areas can be thus approaching the hundred meters, while in the middle of a campaign we will be satisfied with an accuracy of between 500 meters and several kilometers. The application Navizon is available now at a price of $ 24.99.
